Workshops on integration and radicalization prevention in Vienna and Linz
Since March 2018, the IOM country office for Austria has been running the pilot project "WIR: workshops on integration and prevention of radicalization" together with the Grosses Schiff association. The project aims to support young Chechens in developing their identity and integrating in Austria. In a series of workshops, knowledge about Chechnya and Austria, media skills and social skills in the areas of intercultural communication and conflict resolution are to be imparted. The overarching goal here is to prevent radicalization. The pilot project is carried out in close cooperation with the associationBig shipcarried out.
